Started as Assistant Professor at Virginia Tech

On August 2023, I started a position as an Assistant Professor at Virginia Tech in the Department of Geosciences. As a PI, I will be leading the Bedform Dynamics Lab with broad interests in surface processes, bedform dynamics, and process sedimentology in a range of environments including fluvial, aeolian and lacustrine.

Continue to follow along and see updates from the lab here and at https://geos.vt.edu

See below for the current research interests and opportunities in my research group:

Research Interests:
• Giant dune morphology in rivers and deserts
• Morphodynamics & process sedimentology in large and small rivers
• Dune and ripple morphology and movement in flume experiments
• Dammed river dynamics, fate and management strategies
